The way of the righteous 
is like the first gleam of dawn,
    which shines ever brighter until the full light of day.
But the way of the wicked is like total darkness.
    They have no idea what they are stumbling over.

One of the many things we have loved about our days in South Dakota is long sunrises: "The path of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, shining ever brighter until the full light of day." Contrast that with the way of the wicked: they can't even see what is making them stumble.
