I learned this as a child - possibly my first memory verse.   My mom would teach it to my brother and I before we went to bed.

Psalm 100 was read at mom's funeral, and it described her attitude toward life.   She was a "Make a joyful noise, serve the Lord with gladness" kind of person… always positive, glass-half-full.
