Finally, all of you be like-minded and sympathetic, love one another, and be compassionate and humble, not paying back evil for evil or insult for insult but, on the contrary, giving a blessing, since you were called for this, so that you may inherit a blessing.

This one I have been working on for a while. I feel this doesn't mean just a mean act done in return for one that is done to you but it also means when mean or unkind things are said to you. This one has been a hard one for me. Many Christian people can say things in a way that it is unkind and honestly try to shame others for past mistakes and it resonates with you. If you letting what they say into your thoughts and feeling you are less than, how can you then be a positive Lamp for Jesus? Don't let someone dim your light, just because it is shining in their eyes.
